Blimie Kraus, MHC

Blimie grew up in Kiryas Joel, NY. She earned her BA in psychology from Touro College and a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University. With a deep passion for helping others, Blimie has dedicated herself to integrating various therapeutic modalities into her practice.

Blimie’s approach is shaped by her extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodrama, and Psychodramatic Bodywork. She also employs Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work and the inner child model to provide holistic and personalized care for her clients.

Blimie views each client as a unique individual with their own story and challenges. She believes in creating a safe and compassionate space where clients can explore and heal. Her therapeutic philosophy is rooted in empathy, empowerment, and collaborative exploration, aiming to support clients on their journey towards emotional well-being and self-discovery.
